Eligibility
1.All the applicants need to be 19 years or older prior to the program start in order to be enroll with the Vancouver Beijing College of Chinese Medicine.
All applicants to our school programs must satisfy Vancouver Beijing College of Chinese Medicine's English or Chinese Proficiency Requirement. All applicants must complete at least 2 years of English or Chinese post-secondary education in order to satisfy the language proficiency requirement for their studies.
2. All the applicants should fully understand that CTCMA license examination and registration requirements as the following:
“For students planning to be licensed by the College of Tradtional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists (CTCMA) in BC, two (2) years of liberal arts and sciences (comprised of not less than 60 credits) in an accredited college or chartered/approved university acceptable to the CTCMA registration committee will be required to write the registration examinations. How to Registration:
Applicants must complete the following steps to begin taking credit classes at Vancouver Beijing College of Chinese Medicine.
a. Have an interview with the President to expressing the reasons for pursuing this training. (eg: Why are you interested in pursuing Traditional Chinese Medicine? What past experience, if any, have you had with Traditional Chinese Medicine? And what do you feel you can offer the profession?)
b. Complete an application form, including residency information, and submit university or college transcripts to prove that he/she has completed two years of liberal art or science study (comprised of at least 60 credits) in an accredited college or chartered/approved university acceptable to the registration committee.
c. Meet with an advisor to select classes
d. Register when eligible and pay by deadline listed in the current course schedule
e. There is no any entrance test needed to be take in Vancouver Beijing College of Chinese Medicine)
f. Official transcripts of your marks from each educational institution attended.
g. For transferring from other TCM academic schools, the applicants have to submit all the necessary transcripts of the previous TCM coursework.
Note: Admission to Vancouver Beijing College of Chinese Medicine does not guarantee enrollment into workforce programs that maintain additional entrance requirements.
